Taiwanese singer Jam Hsiao is being harassed by a wealthy female fan, Taiwan media reported.

He turned to Facebook to write his grievances in a post.

According to his post, the fan turned up in the wee hours of the morning on Thursday, ringing his doorbell repeatedly.

She asked him to open the door as she had made soup for him.

Thankfully, security guards made her leave, but Jam Hsiao was left angry.

He questioned how she got past the security gate and said she lacked respect for ringing his doorbell in the middle of the night.

Hsiao’s manager revealed that the 26-year-old star’s overzealous fan had gone to great lengths to get close to Hsiao.

She reportedly spent an estimated NT$100 million (S$4.2 million) over the past three years, to sponsor Hsiao’s events and concerts, in return for access to his press conferences and after parties, as well as opportunities to be photographed with him.

She also reportedly spent NT$40 million (S$1.6 million) last month to buy a unit in the same apartment building Hsiao is living in.
