Previously little-known model Allen Tsai (蔡沛然) has now become a household name in Taiwan.He can command a sky-high appearance fee of NT$5 million ($210,000) to attend fashion events, even higher than top model Lin Chi-ling (林志玲), reports Apple Daily and The Straits Times.This is all because he’s the son-in-law of Taiwan President Ma Ying-jeou (馬英九) ‘” a fact that was only revealed early this week.Allen, 33, a Harvard graduate, finance executive and former model, has been dubbed by media as a gao fu shuai ‘” a good catch who is tall, rich and handsome ‘” after his marriage to Ma’s elder daughter, Lesley Ma (馬唯中), also 33, last year.The couple has secretly dated for 10 years. Allen used to shoot advertisements for international brands, including Levi’s, GAP, Esprit and CK, and was selected by Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani to catwalk in Milan.
