Stefanie Sun's almost lost her voice at the worst possible time ever

Local singer-songwriter Stefanie Sun almost suffered a voice loss during her comeback concert in Singapore several nights ago, according to The Star.

Chinese dailies reported that the concert was about halfway through when she said: “I’m a bit embarassed as my voice is almost gone.”

She then put down the microphone and had a few coughs before saying: “Let’s try our best, alright?”.

One of Singapore’s most popular artistes, Sun took almost two years of break to have her first child; a boy with her Dutch-Indonesian businessman husband.

She staged a comeback this year, releasing an album entitled Kepler and having a world tour to promote the album.

The 35-year-old is set to perform in Malaysia next on Aug 16 at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil.
