Sports babes and FHM girls turn up the heat at Bugis

Professional American football star players kicked off the US Legends Football League series at the launch event held at Bugis Junction yesterday.Liz Gorman, Angela Rypien and Natalie Jahnke showed off their American football skills at the mall while promoting the television series for action entertainment channel KIX, which will premiere the US games of LFL tonight at 10.30pm on StarHub Cable TV Channel 518.This will also be broadcast on KIX HD On Demand on SingTel mioTV Channel 308 from May.Decked in their lingerie-inspired football gear, the LFL players showed off their American football skills, speed and tackling strengths, and interacted with the public through stage games and promotional activities.One of the stage games saw Liz, Angela and Natalie demonstrate various football positions and members of the audience matching the exact position that was called out.The winners each walked away with a limited edition autographed Legends Football League American Football and participants each took home a goodie bag.LFL started in 2009 and has since been called the ‘˜fastest growing pro sports league in the United States’ by NBC Sports.The 12 US franchises include teams such as the three-time champion, Los Angeles Temptation and the, Las Vegas Sin and Atlanta Steam, all of whom, have built an incredible international fan base.Betty Tsui, Vice President, Programme, KIX and Thrill, Celestial Tiger Entertainment, said, "We are excited to bring America’s fastest growing sports league to Asia.
