Taiwanese superstar Jay Chou's concert at the new National Stadium is only in November, but snaking queues formed at the Singapore Indoor Stadium's box office today, when tickets went on sale.

Some people even had to stand in line outdoors, going by photos taken by The Straits Times.

According to the Sports Hub Tix website, M1 customers and OCBC Card members enjoy priority booking from April 25 - 27, and each person is allowed to buy up to 10 tickets per transaction.

Chou will be the first pop act to perform at the National Stadium at the new Singapore Sports Hub.

His Opus II Concert will be held at the new arena on Nov 8. A spokesman earlier promised the upcoming outdoor gig will boast all the bells and whistles of spectacular stage sets, giant video screens as well as performances of tracks from Chou's upcoming 2014 album.

All 17,000 tickets for Chou's concert last June 7 and 8, priced between $98 and $208, were sold out in two-and-a-half hours and a third show on June 6 was added, which also promptly sold out.
