It is beef between “Asia Pacific’s Top Blogger” and the “Celebrity Blogger”. Xiaxue strikes again, and draws tension between her and 20-year-old blogger Eunice Annabel.

If you haven’t been keeping up with the online community then you would be utterly clueless as to what’s going on; but you must have at least heard of social media marketing agencies Nuffnang and Gushcloud.

Both Nuffnang and Gushcloud provide marketing services and manage a group of bloggers for endorsements and advertisements deals.

Eunice Annabel, a Singapore blogger under Gushcloud, drew attention after uploading a picture on her Instagram on July 25.

Mustering a poised look, she sits posed in the centre of 12 other fellow bloggers and her caption boasts: “So you wanna be on top? Gotta beat us first.”

The photo has since garnered over 5,000 likes but veteran blogger Wendy Cheng, or better known as her pseudonym — Xiaxue, did not seem too pleased about it

Xiaxue, managed by Nuffnang, has been blogging for nearly 11 years. She is well-known for her headstrong character through her blog posts, and also after the 2008 catfight with blogger Dawn Yang, which became widespread across entertainment news.

The day after Eunice’s bold statement, Xiaxue, 30, made her thoughts known by posting a similar picture on Instagram with the following caption: “Wanna be on top? Why don’t you quintuple your followers first? You look like you can’t count, so maybe you can’t. Ask your math teacher for some help."

Eunice has since clarified that it was all just a misunderstanding and that the phrase “So you wanna be on top?” was merely referring to a tagline from the TV show America’s Next Top Model, implying that she did not mean any harm by it.
