I am thrilled to continue our cause."Siti Nurhaliza again partners with the National Heart Institute (IJN), this time to raise funds for Muhammad Lukman Yusri, 11, Sharadha Ganesan, 10, and Huang Si Han, 9, who require heart surgery."There are 20 patients on the waiting list but we filtered them according to how much their families need our monetary help," IJN trustee Raja Datin Zuraida Raja Datuk Seri Mansur said at the press conference.Siti Nurhaliza said: "I think it is important to choose patients from different races to show that we are willing to help each other. We try our best to help. Even if it is not much, we still can obtain satisfaction from being able to contribute at least something."For last year's campaign, SimplySiti Di Hati managed to raise RM56,000, which was more than the targeted RM35,000 for its two selected heart patients.This year, the campaign that runs from Nov 15 to Feb 15, is expected to collect RM100,000, the amount needed for the three patients' surgeries. Just like last year's campaign, Siti Nurhaliza will once again be visiting Watsons' stores in the peninsula, to act as a "salesgirl" for her beauty line SimplySiti.Besides giving them beauty tips, Siti Nurhaliza will also encourage them to donate to the campaign by purchasing SimplySiti products worth RM150 or more. RM10 from every purchase will be directed to the fund."SimplySiti Di Hati lives up to its name because I will be closer to my fans."When I perform, I would sing on stage while my fans are far away from me. This time, I get to meet them up close."She had visited only four Watsons stores last year, but this year she will visit 11 spending two hours per store, starting from Friday at Watsons, Semua House, in hope of raising more funds than last year."IJN would like to express our gratitude to Siti Nurhaliza for her efforts.
