Shu Qi attacked after speaking up for Donnie Yen against Vincent Zhao

Donnie Yen Chi Tan spoke to the Mainland media while promoting his film SPECIAL ID (DUT SHU SUN FUN).

According to a report on Tvbnewsworld, Vincent Zhao Wenzhou was rumored to be acting like a big shot during early days of the production, and Donnie opened up about the subject for the first time.

He stated that because Zhao Wenzhou repeatedly made demands such as asking for a presidential suite and salary increase, causing investors to want a recast on four occasions.

Ten days into the shoot, Donnie learned that Zhao Wenzhou brought eight or nine people to the set and the production paid for all of them.

Donnie said, "I don't know why he would need so many people, I just brought one assistant to the shoot."

As for Zhao Wenzhou reportedly saying that Donnie was envious of his looks, the latter responded hat he has worked with Takeshi Kaneshiro (Gum Sing Mo), Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, Wu Chun and others, all of whom were handsome. Thus, he did not want to respond to talks of envy.

As for Shu Qi receiving negative attacks online after speaking up for him, Donnie said that people who hurt Shu Qi were shameless and praised that Shu Qi was a professional and honorable actress.
