An online Mandarin language programme which was derided by Singaporeans for its demeaning portrayal of women hopes to hire talents from the Lion City for its future projects.

The Sexy Mandarin language coaching videos -- which uses scantily-clad women to teach Mandarin -- were labelled by Singaporeans who spoke in a RazorTV interview last year as an exploitation of lust, "obscene" and demeaning towards women.

Such criticism seems to have had no impact on the internet language centre's approach to teaching Mandarin, as they now look towards Singapore  for an expansion of their talent pool, reported Asiaone.

An excerpt from their press release states that ""successful applicants will teach Mandarin via virtual classrooms to students across the globe, using state-of-the-art webcam technology".

Prospective applicants should also posses fluence in both English and Mandarin, as well as a fun and vibrant personality.
