Anything goes in TVB dramas, says Hong Kong actor Ron Ng.Which explains why he plays actress Myolie Wu's love interest in the upcoming sequel to 2003's Triumph In The Skies, instead of Francis Ng in the original hit airline drama.Deadpans Ron Ng, 33, to The Straits Times: "At TVB, anything goes. But don't worry, there is something about the story that will make this pairing a sensible one."His straightforward comment carries a barb, as his colleagues have spoken out against the leading Hong Kong broadcaster's scripts becoming more ridiculous in recent years.A-list TV actors such as Sheren Tang and Bowie Lam have criticised TVB for lacking creativity in their scripts. Both have upped sticks and left the station for greener pastures. And former TVB screenwriter Chu King Kei has blasted the company for not giving its writers enough freedom to write what they want.Triumph In The Skies II is slated for release later this year.
