Rainie Yang gets bangs to cover up ugly rashes on forehead

After wrapping up three concerts in Hong Kong, Taiwanese singer Rainie Yang revealed that she was suffering from a relapse of Dysautonomia (a disease or malfunction of the autonomic nervous system) due to a segment which required her to hang upside down.

This condition resulted in an outbreak of rashes on her forehead.

The 28-year-old had been rehearsing for the special performance for some time, and caused the micro blood capillaries on her forehead to burst due to increased intracranial (brain) pressure, reports Asian Crunch.

On top of that, the physical challenge, nervousness and excitement from the concert preparation worsened Rainie’s condition, and the rashes did not subside even on the day of the concert.

The singer trimmed her fringe and had bangs to cover up her forehead which was blemished with rashes, and successfully hid her problem from her mother for two months.

Although Rainie had to deal with swollen vocal cords, bruised arms from wireworks and gastric reflux issues besides the rash outbreak, she was not going to give up.

“I just don’t want to admit defeat before others,‘ she said.
