Psy opened up about the controversy surrounding his music video for Gentleman.eNewsWorld reported that the singer spoke as he was leaving the country through Incheon International Airport on April 25.He said about the music video, "I know there’s a debate about the music video. I think it’s because so many people expect more from me. Whenever I write songs and film music videos, I think of one thing, that I will be healthy but not sound, but I think that made the video bad for younger fans."He added, "More children have started to watch my music videos after Gangnam Style, and I think Gentleman was a bit too much for them. I promise I’ll return with a better piece next time."On April 18, KBS dubbed the music video inappropriate for broadcast.A rep from the channel said, "We will not air the video outside of news reports due to scenes in which public property is being damaged."SBS gave it a 12+ rating, saying edited versions will be allowed, while MBC did not make a clear decision.Psy plans to appear on NBC’s The Today Show in America on May 1.
