Pan's Ling Ling's husband denies reports that she needs surgery

Source: AsiaOne, My Paper and Shin Min Daily NewsTelevision actresses Pan Lingling and Huang Biren have taken long leave due to health concerns, according to reports.Pan, 42, is reported to have a growth in her breast, while Huang, 44, confirmed that she had a cyst in her kidney, reported Shin Min Daily News.Both actresses have pulled out from their respective Chinese shows to undergo medical procedures.Pan, who was cast in drama series Sudden, has been replaced by Constance Song, while Huang, who was to star in year-end blockbuster The Journey: A Voyage, has been replaced by Carole Lin.According to the producer of Sudden, Ms Leong Lye Lin, Pan took about three months' leave due to health reasons."She's always been quite low-profile and we didn't discuss her health condition. It was a personal issue... ""We're also worried that she might need sufficient rest, so we didn't contact her directly and (did so) only through her management. "I did see her on and off, and she looked okay," said Ms Leong.However, Pan's husband, actor Huang Shinan, has denied reports that she needed surgery to remove the growth.He told the Chinese evening daily that Pan was suffering from flu and a cough."Who said (she has a growth)?
