Hitting One Direction star Harry Styles in the groin might have gotten millions of laughs on the Internet, but it hasn't been all fun and games for the incident's culprit, 14-year-old Jade Anderson.
"I have [received] some death threats on Twitter from people," Anderson told Celebuzz in an exclusive interview. "But most people have been really nice to me."
“I think some One Direction fans are jealous because of all the attention I am getting," she added. "But I did not plan it that way and did not mean Harry any harm. If we could meet in person, then I would apologize to him about it.”
One Direction's concert stop in Glasgow, Scotland, came to a screeching halt when a shoe that Anderson threw onto the stage accidentally hit Styles in the groin area.
The teen has since recorded a video message from her bedroom, where the walls are adorned with 1D memorabilia-- and sent it to CelebBuzz! -- to apologize to the boy bander for the ballsy move.
"I was meant to throw my shoe on the stage so the members of the band could touch something belonging to me, but I accidentally hit Harry where it hurts most," Anderson said in the recorded message.
Anderson says she was escorted out of the concert by security, but was allowed to return to the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre on the request of Styles and his bandmate, Niall Horan.
Her shoes are currently in the possession of the newspaper The Daily Record, which plans to have them signed by Styles and One Direction.
