Source: The Daily ChilliAs a devout Muslim who dons the hijab (Muslim headscarf), Malaysian actress Natasha Hudson is shying away from romantic scenes and physical contact with any male star on the screen. The 30-year-old, who is four months pregnant with her first child with hip hop artiste Carleed Khaza, said she would turn down offers that require her to get intimate with her male co-stars in a drama series or film, as a measure to uphold her principles as a Muslim. The hot mama started donning head scarf in March since she returned from her Umrah in Medina and Mecca."Since I started wearing a headscarf, I have not come across any film offers which require me to do intimate scenes with male stars."Well, I will not be too fussy about the offers I get because (acting) is my job. Luckily, most directors and producers are aware and respect my boundaries as an actress who dons the hijab," she told mStar recently. She added that she is shifting her focus to hosting as well as managing Dream Clouds Productions, the production company she co-owned with Carleed, whom she tied the knot to back in April. However, fret not, as the the winner of the Most Promising Actress at the 20th Malaysian Film Festival is far from quitting showbiz altogether."I have not thought of fully quitting acting because it's my interest and source of satisfaction right now. It's just that I have to juggle between acting, hosting and my business career and pick acting offers that suit my current status," she explained. That, along with focusing on her pregnancy, which she described as "a better experience" than when she was carrying Nessa Helena, her daughter of her previous marriage with Datuk Shahrin Zahari."So far I am not having any discomfort nor craving. I do get tired easily. I will continue to work as long as I am able to," she concluded.
