Mariah Carey is set to perform a romantic concert for one lucky couple on Valentine's Day (14.02.14.).
The 42-year-old 'The Art of Letting Go' hitmaker, who was blasted for recently performing for Angolan dictator Jose Eduardo dos Santos for $1 million, is auctioning off an intimate gig at her home in New York City, via the website Prizeo, to raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Mariah wrote a letter on the fundraising platform that reads: You all know that this is my favourite time of the year, and so I've decided to give back and raise some funds for the incredible St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause very close to my heart as a mom.
"In exchange for a small donation, you will be entered to win a trip to New York City (I'll fly you from WHEREVER you are in the world) to visit me in my home, where I will give you and a loved one your very own private concert... on Valentine's Day!"
She added: "I wanted to do something extra special for such a magical organisation, and I thank you dearly for all of your support."
Meanwhile, Mariah has also revealed that she and her husband, Nick Cannon, are planning to enjoy a quiet family Christmas with their two-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, in Aspen, Colorado, this year.
She told 'Access Hollywood': "We always do really fun, tricky things for each other for Christmas and this year I'm just, like, let's make it about the babies, because they're only going to get this year once where they're really going to understand it for the first time."
