Leslie Cheung fans in Hong Kong paid their respects with a sea of flowers yesterday. Despite signs stating that flowers and gifts would be removed from the star's former home at Kadoorie Hill by the management, many female fans of Leslie still insisted on leaving flowers to remember him. According to a report on hktopten.blogspot.sg, other venues where fans gathered included The Mandarin Oriental Hotel at Central and Ice House Street, next to the hotel. Chan Suk Fun set up a spiritual tablet in Po Fook Hill for Gor Gor, which not only had fresh flowers in front of it but also at the special area set up outside for everyone to remember Leslie. Leslie hand print on the Avenue of Stars also saw fresh flowers, while a guided tour with over 200 Leslie fans retraced his steps across several key landmarks.
