Kevin and Danielle Jonas have welcomed a baby girl.
The singer and his wife have decided to name their first child Alena Rose Jonas, after she was born following Danielle spending eight hours in labour earlier today (02.02.14).
The happy announcement was made through Dreft laundry detergent, who tweeted: "On this day, a little star was born. Meet Alena Rose Jonas. #BabyJonas."
Kevin, 26, was by Danielle's side as she gave birth and had given fans updates live from hospital.
He tweeted earlier today: ""#babyjonas is on the way!! Follow dreft for all the updates!!!!! It's showtime #thisisnotadrill (sic)."
He later added: "Here we go we're pushing!!!! #babyjonas (sic)"
Speaking about the name they had chosen for their baby, Danielle previously said: "The middle name has a lot of meaning, but her first name is ... different enough but not totally out there. It's cute."
Danielle had also said she didn't like her growing stomach when she was pregnant, but Kevin had been reassuring her he found it sexy.
He said: "I absolutely find her sexier than ever. I tell her all the time. She wears pregnancy well, she's stunning."
Kevin also tweeted that he is "so in love" with his baby daughter.
He wrote: "I'm so in love with her (sic)"
Alena's arrival was particularly meaningful for the Jonas family as Danielle gave birth on Kevin's grandfather's memorial.
Kevin's brothers and former bandmates Nick and Joe Jonas had their grandfather on their mind as they spoke of their excitement at the new arrival.
Nick tweeted: "My grandfathers memorial was yesterday. Today we welcome a new addition to the jonas family. God is great. Can't wait to meet my new niece.(sic)"
And Joe wrote: "As one life ends, another begins. Incredibly happy to be an uncle for the first time. Welcome to this world my beautiful niece (sic)"
