Justin Bieber flew to Canada to support his dad during his knee operation.
The 19-year-old star who was at New York Fashion Week earlier this week travelled back to his hometown of Ontario where his father Jeremy lives with his wife, Erin, and Justin's half-brother Jaxon and half-sister Jazmyn.
His father was touched by his superstar son's gesture, writing on Twitter: "My boy @justinbieber flew all the way home to be with me for my surgery. What an incredible boy. #love (sic)"
Justin replied: "@JeremyBieber of course. #love #family. (sic)" His father seems to be coping well with the operation and later tweeted: "Layed up while the boyz out 4wheelin :(. (sic)"
Justin has shared a close relationship with dad Jeremy and the pair even got a matching tattoo of the word "Yeshua", the Hebrew word for "Jesus", inked vertically on their left torsos while in Israel.
Justin was raised primarily by his mother Pattie Mallette - who had him when she was just 17 - after his parents split but he has always had a good relationship with his dad, who has been a constant presence in his life.
The pop heartthrob previously said: "I have a great relationship with my dad. When I was younger, he taught me how to play some songs on the guitar, like 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door' by Bob Dylan. He taught me how to drive, too."
