Top Taiwanese princesses Jolin Tsai and Elva Hsiao came together in a rare photo opportunity to open a restaurant recently, reported News QQ.

The two rivals, who last shared screentime eight years ago, had to put aside their pride to help promote their boss' new restaurant called Playhouse.

Could it be the sun or other reasons, but the pair looked less delighted to be at the event's opening.

One of the crew even had to hold up an umbrella to shield the stars from the glaring sunlight.

When asked if they would have each other guest star in their new album, Jolin said they might approach each other for the next album instead.

Jolin shared that her fans influence the sounds of her new records.

She would monitor their likes and try to research into it.

They also asked paparazzi to give them some space and let them have the opportunity to eat in peace.

Elva said how she is being followed at every corner and being snapped at by their camera phones.
