Eric Tsang says he was left with the feeling that Jay Chou was unsatisfied with his performance of a 10-second song he had written for him, despite filming for half a day.

According to a report in HKtopten, Eric plays a Chinese medicine clinic boss named Lord Bo in Jay Chou's new film THE ROOFTOP.

Chow Kit Lun wrote a special song for him to perform, where he had to sing 39 words in 10 seconds.

Chi Wai joked that it was quite a bother because Chow Kit Lun kept saying that he was "half a beat behind".

Finally the recording took half a day to complete, but he still felt Chow Kit Lun was not 100% satisfied with his performance.

In the film he and Taiwanese comedian "Na Dou" play father and son, despite the fact they do not resemble at all.

It turns out that it was Eric's daughter Bowie Tsang that had suggested he play the role to Chow Kit Lun on a flight.

Chi Wai joked that when he saw Na Dou, he felt that he had to go to Korea for plastic surgery to make himself uglier in order to match him.

In the meantime, THE ROOFTOP has been performing well at the box office in China. As of two days ago it was heading toward 120 million RMB.
