Jamie Oliver was in Singapore for a brief pit-stop while on his Australian Tour which he has hashtagged #OZtrip.

After a 13-hour flight from the United Kingdom where he resides, he popped into his new restaurant - Jamie's Italian Singapore at Vivocity - where he checked in on his team. He also readily posed for pictures with some fans who were at the restaurant, reports The Straits Times.

He has reportedly left Singapore on Thursday evening for Australia, with Perth being his first stop followed by New South Wales.

According to his website, he is touring Australia, "meeting up with old friends and colleagues, getting to know exciting producers and companies and spreading the love in the country that is his home from home".

He is reportedly also keen on meeting with producers, resturants and breweries in all the regions he will be visiting.
