Simon Cowell's dogs have been sent to "bootcamp" after peeing in the Gucci store.
The media mogul's pet pooches Squiddly and Diddly keep embarrassing him in public and - as much as he loves the pair - he has come to accept he "can't be soft on them".
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, a source revealed: "He adores these two dogs as if they're children, but he realises he can't be soft on them any longer.
"So he's brought in a top trainer to put them through their paces just like his singers do at the 'X Factor' bootcamp."
It is said the final straw came after Squiddly got over-excited in the exclusive Beverley Hills Gucci store and "ended up weeing on the floor".
The insider added: "Squiddly was very excited to be out and about but ended up weeing on the floor of the shop.
"Simon thought it was hilarious but it also proved the dogs need professional help."
The 54-year-old star still adores his pooches and it was recently reported he has hired a therapist to keep them happy.
A source had said: "Simon takes the pups to a pet spa once a fortnight for doggy pedicures and massages and they even have a therapist who promises 'zen dog happiness'."
