Source: The Straits TimesHong Kong actor Kevin Cheng brushed off as minor an eye injury he suffered on the set of a mainland serial as he arrived in Hong Kong for treatment.Filming of the drama on Ip Man was stopped after the TVB artiste, playing the gongfu master, hurt his right eye while shooting a boxing match scene in a ring, Ming Pao Daily News reported.On Chinese website Netease, a photo taken on the set at Kunshan city in Jiangsu province showed him lying prone while people tended to his eye. Film crew sources said there were bleeding and bruises around the eye.But Cheng told reporters last night: "The injury is not as serious as was thought. It'd be okay after some stitches."He was at the Hong Kong airport following the accident yesterday afternoon.He was wearing shades and his right eye was bandaged. Around midnight, he was at a hospital for treatment.Cheng is reportedly earning 300,000 yuan per epsiode of the drama.
