HK singer Vivian Lai almost suffers nervous breakdown when quizzed about husband's alleged affair

Hong Kong singer Vivian Lai's marriage may be wrecked if news of her husband's alleged affair in China is in any way true.

According to a report on My Paper, which cited an Next Magazine article, her husband, clothing label Goldlion's chief executive officer Ricky Tsang, got romantically involved with a woman in Guangzhou, China, where he is currently working at.

At the start of his posting, Tsang used to come home to his family -- Lai and their son and daughter -- once a week. However, his return  eventually decresed in frequency, as he came home just once a month.

His returns were also shorter than in the past, as he leaves for Guangzhou the same day he comes back home.

The change in his routine led to suspicion of him having an extra-marital affair, and that even prompted Lai to pack her family's bag and go to England.

The possibility of that scenario becoming true was further fuelled when Lai, whose heyday was in the 90s, was said to be paving a way back into showbusiness by performing in a charity concert.

When the media caught up with her after she sent her youngest child to school and quizzed her about her marriage, she nearly suffered a nervous breakdown, and replied as her eyes turned red: "Don't ask me about it."
