Entertainment Weekly isn't a magazine that's new to creating hype with their images and covers. Often, audiences have managed to get their first look at highly anticipated movies through the magazine's daring approach to spoilers, reports The Straits Times. This time with The Amazing Spider-Man 2, that looks to be no different. The cover of the Comic-Con preview edition of Entertainment Weekly has also given audiences worldwide their first full look at Jamie Foxx as Electro, the main villain of the superhero sequel. In previous reveals, set photos led us to believe that the look of the character was created with blue makeup and clever physical effects, but as the cover reveals, some CG will be used to create the 'electrified' look of Electro.According to Hypable, Foxx was recently on a talk show where he went on to explain the voice that he used as Electro. This is to be understood as voice alteration due to the electrical nature of the character's powers. The voice purportedly sounded a little like Bruce Wayne's altered voice in The Dark Knight trilogy, but it's expected Foxx will bring his own unique take to it and not simply emulate Christian Bale's voice work.
