Gwyneth Paltrow is "really bad" at putting make-up on so she only has a "minimal" daily beauty routine.
The 'Iron Man' actress - who has children Apple, nine, and Moses, seven, with husband Chris Martin - has a "minimal" beauty routine when she isn't working because she is clueless with cosmetics as she has always had someone else apply products for her.
Asked for her daily beauty routine, she said: "It's very minimal. After I drop my kids, I always exercise and then I take a shower and I basically just put on moisturiser - and that's kind of it.
"If I have a meeting or something I'll put on some mascara, but that's as far as I go. I just I never do [use other make-up products]. I've been getting my make-up put on for me since I was 20 years old, so I never learned how to do it, and I'm really bad at it. That's why I have to keep my skin looking good."
Following internet research, the 41-year-old beauty has just begun a new regime which involves rinsing her mouth with coconut oil to make her teeth whiter and improve her oral health, and she finds the "ancient" technique "really interesting".
She told E! News: "I use coconut oil a lot, I use it on my face, on my skin and in my cooking. And I just started 'oil puling', which is when you swish coconut oil around [in your mouth] for 20 minutes, and it's supposed to be great for oral health and making your teeth white. It's supposed to clear up your skin, as well.
"It's really interesting; it's an ancient, ancient technique. I read about it on the Internet."
