Local getai singer Liu Lingling underwent successful artificial insemination, but no one knew she was pregnant until she gave birth to a 3.8kg boy.
She announced the good news after the giving birth last Wednesday (Sep 25), but refused to disclose the identity of the child 's father.
Lingling said, "During the last 10 days of pregnancy, the fetus suddenly became big. I also fell down a few days before giving birth.
"I was quickly admitted to hospital on Wednesday for Caesarean section surgery."
After many hardships, Lingling finally has a child of her own. She cried and said, "Even if I lose my life, I am willing! "
She nicknamed her son Xiang Xiang, but was vague when asked about the child's father. "The child belongs to me, he is my own flesh and blood. If you see me with a man one day, then that is the child's father.
In total, Lingling has spent at least $100,000 on artificial insemination procedures.
