Doting father Andy Lau flies back to HK specially for daughter's birthday

Andy Lau was working on his film 'Lost and Lonely' in Mainland, China, but it also happened to be his daughter Hanna Lau Heung Wai's birthday on Friday (May 9).

Two days ago Lau made the trip back from Chongqing to Hong Kong specially for the occasion, reports hktopten.

A fan had posted photos online from the Chongqing airport where Lau was seen wearing a medical mask and darting straight to Hong Kong to see his daughter.

Fans even followed him in the cabin. He sported facial hair for a role in his film.

It is known that after Hanna's birthday, he would return to resume his work in the Mainland. Fans also wished Hanna Happy Birthday online.

Keen fans noted that Andy Lau had returned to Hong Kong many times while making 'Lost and Lonely' over the month, including a fan meeting in Hong Kong at the end of March.

There, he showed fans a photo of Hanna for 3 seconds.

For his wife's birthday on April 6th and Hanna's illness, he had also rushed back to Hong Kong. Pictures also show him celebrating his daughter's birthday last year.
