DaDa Chan is ready to move on from the furore that emerged when she shocked the world with her sudden decision to retire from the entertainment industry.
The well-endowed actress made headlines when she abruptly pulled out from show business in August. She also pulled out of the filming of Lan Kwai Fong 3 then, which infuriated the director, Wilson Chin Kwok Wai, who said he will never work with her again.
She was said to be suffering from depression, and is determined to stay away from showbusiness but last month, she made a surprise comeback by announcing her new commitments at a press conference, where she looked to have grown out of shape.
Speaking at an promotional event where she was a model, DaDa said she did not mind being second choice there -- she was drafted in as a replacment after the organisers' first choice was unavaialble due to a TVB boycott -- and that making money was the most important, reported HKTopTen.
She also thanked her lucky stars to still have the support of many clients she has worked with in the past.
In December she will work on two productions -- a comedy and a police film.
When asked about her thoughts to Wilson's comments, she shrugged off the snub and looked toward the potential that the future can bring about.
"There are many different types of opportunities, I will work hard to recover lost ground."
