Crayon Pop under fire for copying costumes -- again

K-pop girl band Crayon Pop has been accused of plagiarism yet again, this time for copying Chrismas tree themed costumes previously worn by Japanese girl band Momoiro Clover Z.

According to a report on Soompi, It was recently reported that Crayon Pop had previously been accused of lifting the concepts of Japanese girl group Momoiro Clover Z.

The issue started with the release of Crayon Pop’s image teaser for their upcoming single, “Kkurismas.”

The teaser image shows Crayon Pop members in a green Christmas themed outfit, topped with a star headband to symbolize a Christmas tree.

Netizens were quick to cried foul when the outfits in the “Kkurismas” teaser photo resembled one of Momoiro Clover Z’s outfits, the one previously worn by Momoka Ariyasu.
