While the Fifty Shades of Grey movie heated up global box offices, a man, surnamed Li, was inspired to reenact it in real life, abducting and imprisoning a young girl.
The man, surnamed Li, was a successful CEO of a Hangzhou company, until he was prosecuted for rape after he tried to recreate scenes from the blockbuster movie, ifeng reported.
According to the report, Li lured a young girl and locked her in a rented house, then forced the girl to have sex with him in different ways for more than forty hours.
The girl was almost starving to death when she was rescued by the police, as Li had only fed her two bananas and yoghurt during her imprisonment.
Police also found three disks containing many sex videos, which Li confessed he had been deeply attracted to since he was in college.
