Canadian singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen, who wrote 2012's megahit Call Me Maybe, will join American rockers Aerosmith, Korean singer Psy and The Voice coach CeeLo Green at the Social Star Awards and Singapore Social Concerts later this month.The Straits Times reported that Jepsen and Sky Blu, of LMFAO fame, are two of the many stars who will make an appearance at the social media awards and concerts from May 23 to 25.Jepsen will be performing at the concert on May 24, along with CeeLo Green, Psy and pan-Asian girl group Blush.Aerosmith takes the stage on May 25.The Social Star Awards is a 24-hour event which will give out 288 awards to the most popular stars and brands in social media in different categories, from movies to music to sports to games, over the past year. The awards ceremony will be streamed live on YouTube.The $20 million event is organised by Starcount, a company whose website ranks celebrities based on their popularity on major social media sites.The awards show and concerts will be an annual affair to be held in Singapore for at least five years. Members of the public may attend the awards ceremony and a post-awards party. Tickets start from $388.
