Big Bang to be main act in Singapore's F1 concert

A few days after singer-rapper G-Dragon concluded two nights of his solo concert world tour in Singapore, it is announced that he will be back in September with his band, Big Bang, to perform at the Formula One concerts.

The quintet are the headliners on Sept 20 at the Padang Stage, reports The Straits Times.Six pairs of Big Bang meet-and-greet passes will be given away in a lucky draw to F1 ticket holders.

To participate in the lucky draw, ticket holders just need to register their ticket transaction number on the contest page by July 31, 11.59pm.

The other key acts at the 2013 Grand Prix extravaganza here from Sept 20 to 23 are American rockers The Killers (Sept 21), R&B-pop queen Rihanna (Sept 22) and Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber (Sept 23).

All the headliners will be performing at the Padang Stage, which is located in Zone 4 of the F1 circuit.

The three-day Zone 4 Walkabout tickets are now sold out. Limited tickets are still available for single-day Zone 4 Walkabout on Friday ($68), Saturday ($148) and Sunday ($178).

Bieber's post-race concert on Sept 23 is separately ticketed. It costs $98 for F1 ticket holders and $148 for those without tickets to the races.
