Big Bang’s new album is making waves across the globe even before it is even released.
Soompi reports that American cable television station, Fuse TV, has selected it as one of its “25 Most Anticipated 2014 Summer Albums”.
Big Bang joins several famous international acts on the list, including Coldplay, Lana Del Rey, Cher Lloyd and Mariah Carey.
Fuse TV expects the new album to have a more urban musical feel than previous releases, saying, “If [G-Dragon’s] past creations are any indication, we’re expecting more forward-thinking EDM and R&B tracks.”
Three of Big Bang’s members, Daesung, Seungri and G-Dragon, have released solo material since the last full-group project. Taeyang is also slated to make a solo comeback in the near future.
However, Big Bang fans are waiting eagerly for the return of the entire band.
The new album is still unnamed and is being largely written by G-Dragon.
Big Bang’s last music release as a group was the mini-album “Alive” featuring the song “Fantastic baby” in early 2012.
