Beauties from around the world take part in Nanjing contest

Forty-two international beauties from 38 countries and regions have gathered in Nanjing, China, to compete in the annual Miss All Nations Pageant, reported China Daily.

According to the competition's Facebook page, the pageant is to promote eco-tourism and Save The Environment campaign.

The contestants have been showing off their skills and personalities since Jul 4 in the preliminary rounds of the competition.

They dazzled judges with their fancy costumes to highlight the cultures of their countries, with Miss Portugal winning the Best National Costume category.

The women also wowed audiences with their toned bodies in the swimsuit segment which took place at a shopping mall.

The contestants will be spending a whole month in Nanjing. The grand finale will take place on Jul 23.
