Yesterday, Barbie Hsu and her husband Wang Xiaofei were spotted shopping at a bookstore and headed for a meal shortly after.

After leaving the restaurant, the couple walked hand-in-hand to take the left, reports Asian Pop News.

Shortly after, a few reporters went up to greet them.

When asked if they were spending Valentine's Day in advance, Barbie replied politely, "No, we are just here to get some books on babies."

Barbie added that they had not bought any books and were going back for a rest.

Later in the day, Wang Xiaofei lashed out on his Weibo and blasted the paparazzi.

He wrote: "I took my wife for an afternoon tea today.

"Suddenly, there were six to seven reporters who dashed onto the pregnant lady and flashed their cameras at her.

"They even blocked the lift and refused to let us leave.

"You all keep saying you were sorry, but you were not at all apologetic.

"My wife is having a tummy pain now, are you satisfied?"

The Taiwanese media then clarified that there were only four reporters that day and only one camera and video recordign equipment was used.

They also stressed that they were interacting politely with her.
