Andy Lau pleads with Hong Kong police to stop violence

"People's Chief Executive" Andy Lau posted on his official site earlier to speak out against the use of violence.

Two days ago, the Occupy Central and the anti Occupy Central camps broke into fights in Mongkok, some protesters were even bloodied and battered, reports HK Top Ten.

Andy posted, "The thing that I have always been afraid of truly happened! The conflict between people has expanded!!

"This is something that no one who loves Hong Kong wants to see.

"Students, protesters, you have to learn to ensure your personal safety.

"I plead with law enforcement and the police for appropriate handling, to the best of their abilities to protect the students, the protesters, and the general public's safety and ensure peace in Hong Kong."
