AKB48 members and other Japanese stars celebrate their 'Coming of Age'

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, 17 members of AKB48 and 4 members of Nogizaka46 all celebrated Coming of Age Day this month. The girls dressed in stunningly beautiful kimonos for the celebration.Coming of Age Day is a ceremony in Japan that celebrates Japan’s young people becoming adults. Young people all across Japan attend the ceremony when they turn 20 years old, reported Lotus8Asia.Women usually wear a traditional long sleeve kimono on this day. The day is also a time for the new adults to reflect on themselves and think about things they would like to change about themselves now that they are adults.Kyary Pamyu Pamyu choose to go the more outside of the box route and wear a kimono with a unicorn print.
