Aimee Chan turned down a role in TvB series, Cold Mountain, Hidden Dragon, last year after learning that she was pregnant.

Last December, Aimee gave birth to her first son and since then, she has not returned for filming for over a year.

According to an article in Asian Pop News, recently, TVB has plans to film an upcoming series 'Cheung Po Tsai' using the original cast from 'Slow Boat Home'.

As Aimee was the lead actress in 'Slow Boat Home', she was approached by TVB to participate in the new series.

However, according to reports online, her husband has forbidden her to return to filming and as their baby is only 8 months old, he reportedly preferred for her to spend more time taking care of their son.

Aimee has since turned down the role in 'Cheung Po Tsai', citing reasons that she has not recovered from her hand injury, and wished to celebrate her baby's first year and Christmas together as a family.

The family was seen shopping for baby supplies at a mall in Tsim Sha Tsui recently. The couple used a pram hood to cover their baby's face. Aimee also appeared glum when they were shopping.
