Due to popular demand and strong ticket sales, the much-anticipated movie-turned-musical, Ah Boys To Men: The Musical today announces eight additional performances until May 4, 2014, even before the production officially kicks off its run tomorrow at Resorts World Theatre.

According to an article in AsiaOne, with strong ticket sales for the weekend performances in particular, the production will now extend its run from the initial end date of 27 Apr 27, 2014, adding on 12,800 more seats for the 'tokong' musical of a lifetime from Tekong.

Based on the best-selling movie franchise Ah Boys To Men, Ah Boys To Men: The Musical is a musical adaptation combining both movies - following the adventures of Sergeant Alex Ong and Recruits Ken Chow, Lobang, Aloysius Jin and I.P Man as they undergo their Basic Military Training, building bonds, friendship and a camaraderie along the way lasting them a lifetime.

Showcasing their transition from the big screen to stage in Running Into The Sun's first-ever tri-lingual musical production, the 'Ah Boys' (Tosh Zhang, Wang Weiliang, Maxi Lim, Noah Yap) will reprise their roles from the movies, this time alongside new recruit Benjamin Kheng and a celebrity cast including Richard Low, Chua En Lai, Patricia Mok and Zhou Chong Qing.
