90's Power Ranger star performs on the street in costume: Find out why

If you were a kid in the 1990’s, you likely at least knew who the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers were at one point.

And if you were on the older side of the show’s fans, you were likely entering, into, or nearing puberty, you were well-aware of Amy Jo Johnson, the Pink Ranger for much of the show’s run.

Johnson made an impromptu return as the Pink Ranger on the streets of Toronto, singing and playing guitar to fulfill a challenge related to her crowd-funded film, reports FANSIDED.

Johnson has her directorial debut, The Space Between, on Indiegogo, and was challenged by her friend and former Power Rangers castmate David Yost (the original Blue Ranger, Billy) to wear a Pink Ranger costume and sing and dance on a busy street if The Space Between reached its funding early.

It did, and so Johnson found a Pink Ranger dress she still had, and took to the streets. Johnson doesn’t sound great in the video (she’s probably really uncomfortable and cold), but she has released three music albums following her tenure as a Power Ranger.
