33-year-old songwriter Toby Sheldon is such a Justin Bieber fan that he spent five years and $100,000 on plastic surgery to look more like the pop star.

Toby told UK magazine Closer that he started off with botox injections back in 2008 in a bid to get the smooth and "plumped-up skin" that Bieber apparently has.

He subsequently went, among other procedures, for hair transplants and got "smile surgery” as well.

He also had additional surgery under his eyelids.

Toby said in his interview: “It’s Justin’s smile that gives him his youthful look. So I had my upper lip lifted [and] my bottom lip plumped out.”

And he could not be more pleased with the end product.

"I always had similar traits to Justin, like my bone structure and eye shape.

“I just wanted to enhance certain features to look more like him," he added.

However, his attempt to achieve Bieber's look did not come with out a price.

“My smile surgery took more than a month to recover from,” he was quoted as saying in a Medical Daily report.

"After my eyelid surgery, I couldn’t open my eyes for a week.”
